Yes. ZJG Ltd. carries £10 million public liability insurance, £10 million employers' liability insurance, and full contract works cover. We are in the process of obtaining CHAS, Constructionline and ISO 9001 accreditations, and our site managers hold SMSTS certification.
We're based in London and primarily work across Greater London, the South East and Home Counties. For larger projects and developments, we can take on work nationwide. Get in touch to discuss your location.
Project duration depends entirely on scope and complexity. As a rough guide: a single-storey extension typically takes 12-16 weeks; a full house renovation 4-6 months; a new build home 9-14 months. We'll provide a detailed programme as part of your quotation and keep you updated throughout.
Yes. Our in-house design team can handle everything from permitted development checks and planning applications to structural calculations, building regulations submissions and party wall agreements — so you don't have to coordinate multiple consultants yourself.
All our work is covered by a 10-year workmanship warranty. New-build homes are also backed by a 10-year structural warranty (such as LABC or Premier Guarantee). Manufacturer warranties on materials and fittings are passed directly to you.
For most renovations and extensions, yes. Our teams operate with strict site protocols — dust protection, sealed work zones, daily clean-downs and clearly agreed working hours — so you can remain in your home with minimal disruption. For major structural works, we'll advise on whether temporary accommodation is recommended.
Payments are tied to clearly defined project milestones — never up-front lump sums. You'll know in advance exactly when each stage payment is due and what work it covers. All payments are invoiced with full transparency and can be made by BACS.
Yes. Our team has the specialist knowledge required for listed buildings and heritage properties. We work closely with conservation officers, use traditional materials and techniques where required, and ensure all work meets the conditions of your listed building consent.
We offer a range of sustainable options including high-performance insulation, triple-glazed windows, air-source and ground-source heat pumps, solar PV, MVHR systems, and low-carbon materials. Many of our new builds achieve EPC A ratings as standard.
Every project is assigned a dedicated project manager who acts as your single point of contact from day one through to final handover — so you never have to chase multiple people or repeat yourself. You'll also have direct access to our office team during working hours.
